چکیده
In this study, SiCp/Al composites were bonded using the laser-induced exothermic bonding method. The nanostructured Al/Ni energetic materials prepared by high-energy ball-milling method and served as interlayer. joint microstructure was characterized SEM, EDS, TEM, XRD. effect of Zr content on shear strength investigated. results indicated that after process Al Ni particles underwent strong plastic deformations welded to each other, forming with a lamellar structure. Compared raw powders, location peak decreased 42 K, its performance significantly improved. reactions occurred in interlayer provided required heat for process. Near interface, could not react completely due cooling substrates, mixture residual metal Ni-Al compounds. addition enhanced interfacial between composites. products transformed from NiAl eutectic organization + Ni-Al-Zr, thus decreasing pores improving quality. With an increase content, first increased then decreased. When 10 wt.%, reached maximum 22 MPa.

متن کاملShear-Induced Exothermic Chemical Reactions
The structure of controlled high-strain-rate shear bands generated in Ti-Si reactive powders has been investigated by means of the radd symmetric collapse of a thick-walled cylinder. Shear localization developed at global strains of 0.2-0.4 and a strain rate of lo4 s-I. Within the shear bands, local shear strains were up to 100 9d local shear strain rates were lo7 s-'. Chemical reactions were i...
متن کاملBTEX detection with composites of ethylenevinyl acetate and nanostructured carbon
By using a solvent-based method composites of ethylenevinyl acetate copolymer and carbon black (EVA-CB) were synthesized for sensing BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene) vapours. The composites were characterized using atomic force microscopy (AFM) in an electroconductive mode. Gas sensing results show that EVA-CB can reproducibly detect BTEX and that the response increases linearly...
متن کاملRobustly Engineering Thermal Conductivity of Bilayer Graphene by Interlayer Bonding
Graphene and its bilayer structure are the two-dimensional crystalline form of carbon, whose extraordinary electron mobility and other unique features hold great promise for nanoscale electronics and photonics. Their realistic applications in emerging nanoelectronics usually call for thermal transport manipulation in a controllable and precise manner. In this paper we systematically studied the...
متن کاملMultimillion Atom Reactive Simulations of Nanostructured Energetic Materials
For large-scale atomistic simulations involving chemical reactions to study nanostructured energeticmaterials, we have designed linear-scaling molecular dynamics algorithms: 1) first-principles-based fast reactive force field molecular dynamics, and 2) embedded divide-and-conquer density functional theory on adaptive multigrids for quantum-mechanical molecular dynamics. These algorithms have ac...
